Busy, Busy, Busy.

I love aphorisms. As you will know my favourites are both by Gordon Gecko, 'Lunch is for whimps,' and 'If you want a friend get a dog.' But I have just found another one to live by. 'Failure is just testing the Market.' How very encouraging.

I am busy, busy, busy, busy at present. Having worked out three story lines for three children's novels I now have to decide which one to progress. The Charlemagne project is by far the best, but is young adult, pushing adult, adult and would take five years of research and writing to complete. So it may be Plan B, an action story set in Egypt during the Suez Crisis, which could be polished off in eighteen months.

I am also working on an ebook to sell from our good old Alonah Reading Cambridge website, which has just reached the remarkable heights of Page Rank 4 on Google. I am also going to convert the existing reading package to ebook format, thus making the whole sales process automatic, 24/7. As the old farmer said, 'My pigs is growing while I'm sleeping.'
