Progress
Despite my computer having a wobble we soldier on.
Amazingly (considering the computer wobble) I have now typed 1500 words of Plan B and still have another 500 in draft ready to type. Some of it has had a first edit which I accepted with my usual ill grace. The good old one page a day system is holding up at present quite well. Some of the description is rather hard work, I really do need that trip to Alexandria all expenses paid by a benefactor, but Google is doing its best to help. When my computer works that is.
The real problems are with the Alonah Reading Cambridge Ebook project. In theory we just turn the reading course package into a PDF file and people can download it, thus saving massive postal charges. Not so, it saves quite nicely as a PDF file but the formatting slips so that the Contents page header appears at the bottom of the Title page. This presumably occurs all the way through the four book, fourhundred page, course. As the original word document is formatted correctly it is all very strange. No doubt somebody will be able to sort it out at vast expense
