Professional photographer offers low cost website design to Cambs companies

A CAMBRIDGESHIRE professional photographer renowned for his innovative imagery has launched a new low cost website design business aimed at taking the stress out of company website creation.

www.affordaweb.co.uk is the brainchild of Colin Bennett who decided to set up in business to make it less complicated and affordable for small and medium sized firms in an era of business belt tightening.

And for one of his first jobs he has created a free website for a Cambridgeshire Macmillan nurse who is walking the Great Wall of China at Easter to raise money for her own oncology unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

"The website will enable people to sponsor Sarah online, view her events, post messages, see her latest news, view her blogs and podcasts," said Colin, who offered his services after hearing of Sarah's fundraising event.

After completely rebuilding his own websites with investment in web design software, Colin is now creating punchy websites with the promise of keeping costs low while offering a good web hosting service to clients including free site updates.

"Professional web design shouldn't be rocket science and because of bad personal experiences I have decided to set up this service to provide good, honest, decent and affordable web design and hosting," said Colin (49), of Hamerton near Huntingdon, who also runs Images UK from his Cambridgeshire base.

"Having spoken to other small businesses I found that many want a website creating or upgrading and they don't know where to start or are fearful of getting bamboozled into a design and hosting contract with spiralling hidden costs for simple page changes," said Colin.

"A brochure only lasts for so long before the information is out of date but with affordaweb we will constantly update customers websites as and when they want and at no extra cost.

"Google now favourably rate websites who's content changes regularly which make them more prominent in global searches."

The affordaweb.co.uk website gives clients the chance to choose highly adaptable templates with "hassle free" design and content management with "ultra fast" page changes and updates.
