Bullen, 17, a student at Hills Road Sixth Form College, has become a key member of the Great Britain squad in the last couple of years, and she and her team-mates missed out on a place in the last four when they suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Sweden on Sunday.
Coach Knut Karsawe said: “I am so proud of the girls and of what they have achieved over the last year with all of the ups and downs.
“The positives we can take are how good they are as a team and individually and also where our weaknesses are and we can work on that. It’s still a young team and we’ve got enough time to work together before the London 2012 Paralympic Games.”
Goalball is played by visually impaired athletes, who have to score goals using a ball with a bell inside. To ensure a level playing field all players wear eyeshades.
Bullen recently returned from the European Championships in Assen, Denmark, where Great Britain finished ninth.
